Frank Frazetta - Spider Man - 1966
Frank Frazetta’s artwork has influenced my tastes in art, and fantasy, and science fiction, and…well, and IMAGINATION since I was a kid. If you aren’t familiar with his work, your knowledge of art is missing out on one of the people who laid the foundations of fantastic art and illustration as we know it.
This past weekend, Frank Frazetta suffered a stroke, and passed away. He was 82.
My condolences to his family and friends. I never met the man, but he’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Rest in peace, Frank. Rest in peace.
